MARKETING COPYWRITING: SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

I believe I can give you what you need.

I'm happy to put my keyboard where my mouth is, too. Don't like what I've done for you? Don't worry about it.

I'll keep writing until you're happy with your copy.

Want changes? I can do it again in a different style or talking about different things. I write for a living - it's what I do! So you never have to think "Is that it?" when you see the first draft. We will always be able to get the copy you need.

ESTIMATE

l estimate how much it will cost to complete the project. Once we agree on a figure, I start writing. I will never add on hidden "extras" to a quotation.

I always think writing copy is like making a suit. The first cut gets you the rough shape. After that you pare things down, add some bits and take some bits away until you get a perfect, made-to-measure piece you can be proud of.

BILLING FOR COPY

If it's my first time with you, I'll bill 50% in advance. If you're a repeat client, I'll bill everything after I've finished writing.

 

COMPLETION OF COPY

After completion I will ask if you have been happy with our work together, and whether you have any suggestions or criticisms.

With your permission, positive feedback may be used as a testimonial about your experience with me, which I will use for marketing purposes. I will also ask, where possible, for copies of finished materials to use for the "Portfolio" section of the site.

You know what makes me happiest? When a previous client comes back for new copy. It proves they liked my work. I get a lot of repeat clients.

RESPONSIBILITY

You accept full responsibility for all detail contained in the copy and all claims made within the copy. You indemnify me against all losses, claims, damages and liabilities which arise out of any use of the copy.

CHARGING

Drop me a line for rate details.

Invoices are payable within 15 days of completion of the project. I will retain copyright until payment is complete.

 

PITCHING

I work from home so that I can devote as much time as possible to writing copy for my clients. That's why I don't get involved with competitive pitching - writing prospective copy for potential clients or visiting them for pre-contract "interviews" for free.

To protect us both from any misunderstandings, I'll record all of our correspondence - both written and spoken - so that we know where we stand at all times. I'll be happy to provide you with copies upon request.
