WRITING CORRECT ENGLISH
Want to know the easiest way for someone to decide not to buy from you? Pop in a few speling mistackes. or the odd grammatical, error.
No one writes a website or advertising wanting to make mistakes, of course. They happen when we write something in a hurry, when we don't have a read through of what we've put down, and when we're too tired to bother checking to see if it's "heirarchy" or "hierarchy" we should be talking about.
What does your reader think when they spot your mistakes?
It's like when you're heading off on holiday. You're excited by the whole experience, you have a read through the in-flight magazine, look forward to choosing chicken, beef or vegetarian, then you open the fold-away tray in front of you to be confronted by biscuit crumbs that haven't been cleaned up. And now you're convinced the wings are about to fall off and why didn't you make out that last will and testament before you left?
Don't let your potential customers decide not to buy from you just because of silly errors.
And so we come to the "Writing Correct English" articles section! I hope it helps. Check back, because I'll be adding more.

- That they're really clever for catching you out and
- That you're an idiot. An idiot they don't intend to buy anything from, ever.
