MY CLIENT AND BRIEF
I wrote this piece to feature a new technology in an amusing, easily understandable way. One of my main aims was to show how using the technology could relate to and impact upon people in real ways, hence the description of the networks manager and his problems.

ADVERTORIAL COPYWRITING SAMPLE
As you walk down the hall towards the exit you see a shrunken figure hiding in the shadows. You look more closely, noticing the red-rimmed eyes, the pallid skin and feverish brow, the seemingly-permanent stubble. As you approach, he snarls, flashing his ground-down teeth, and scampers away into the gloom. Who can it be? Can it be the networks manager? Is it possible?
It's all your fault, you realise. Things have changed so much lately that the poor chap hasn't been able to keep up. There's the data network, of course, but he was expecting that. No problems there. Transmissions between the offices in New York and London ? Easy. Then there was the voice network to deal with, but he can multi-task, can't he? He can't expect people not to be able to talk to each other. Ah, but then there are the regular video conferences with Tokyo he also has to take care of. Hmm. Maybe, on reflection, you have been asking for a lot.
