MOBILE MARKETING
MY CLIENT AND BRIEF
My client makes games for mobile phones using graphics combined with text messages. This is how it works:
- My client advertises a game on television and flashes a number to text across the screen
- The target consumer texts the number, and inputs certain information requested in the television ad -- first names of the consumer and the consumer's partner, for example
- My client immediately sends back a text containing graphics and a personalised message
- It costs money for the consumer to send the text to my client (that's how they make a profit)
- The texts are not free, but are cheap enough to be affordable and fun
COPYWRITING AUDIENCE
My client's target market is teenagers with a certain amount of disposable income. Something personalised and fun that gives instant gratification, that they can keep and show their friends.

MOBILE MARKETING SAMPLE
These two are from the "Random Wrestling" game. I produced 400 variations -- yes indeed, and the psychiatrist bills were expensive -- on a simple "A defeats B" message. Messages had to be a maximum of 135 characters, fun and related to the game. "$1" and "$2" are replaced automatically by the names submitted by the consumer:

- $1's as big as a T-rex and just as deadly... $2 stays out of range. And then... BOOM! Where did that come from? KO win for $2!
- $2 is cold! Gallant $1 tries hard, but gets iced in the 5th after taking one blow too many! What a mismatch!
